jointly invite you to participate in the philatelic exhibition, which will be held

in the Olympic year 2008

and the commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the founding of the

Slovak Association of Olympic and Sports Philately

The philately branch international exhibition of the 1st range of the Olympic and sports

philately is held every four years, always the year of the games of Olympiad. It became

a traditional part of the Olympic year – OLYMPFILA ’96, SLOVOLYMPFILA 2000, 2004, 2008.

All exhibitors having exhibits with Olympic or sports topics are invited. Competitive

exhibition classes include:

Adults – Olympic, Sports, One-frame exhibits, Philatelic literature and

Open class (with at least 51 % philatelic materials in exhibit)

Youth in order of age category: Olympic, Sports, Open class

There is also Open class for exhibitors collecting pins, coins, phonecards and other

collections and memorabilias devoted to the Olympic Games and sport.

Enclosed please find the preliminary entry form and Bulletin #1 (Competition rules of

exhibition). Preliminary entry form must be completed and returned to the address of

the Organizing Committee of SLOVOLYMPFILA 2008 before December 15, 2007. The

Organizing Committee will send the exhibitors the result on exhibits selection not later

than January 31, 2008 together with the final entry form and Bulletin #2.
